Crowdstrike’s faulty update code? Lost revenue? Lost customers? Inability to meet contractual deadlines?

You need a dedicated law firm with the power and know-how to take on large companies when they wreck your business. The lawyers at Wright McCall know that your business matters—and that matters to us!

In an interview, law firm partner Wyatt Wright emphasized that “we stand ready to go to battle to get compensation for those businesses affected by this massive outage. It is unacceptable in today’s modern world of technology not to test your computer code before you publish it to the masses!”

“Airlines, cities, schools, agribusinesses, commercial chains, and even mom-and-pop operations have been affected due to the negligence of CrowdStrike,” said law firm partner Harold McCall.

Hacking experts said CrowdStrike’s catastrophically faulty code was inadequately tested and included random data.

Businesses around the world reported issues with Microsoft Windows overnight Thursday into Friday, with users citing “blue screen of death” (BSOD) errors. At least some systems resumed functioning shortly afterward, but companies across multiple industries were affected.

Even multiple Starbucks stores are closed because of the outages, the company wrote on X. Mobile ordering on the Starbucks app is currently unavailable, and some customers have reported issues with getting refunds from those online transactions.

“All too often these days, a single glitch results in a system-wide outage,” FTC chair Lina Khan tweeted. “These incidents reveal how concentration can create fragile systems.”

CrowdStrike built its name and a more than $70 billion market value by catching and publicly identifying malicious electronic campaigns by Russian and Chinese spies and organized criminal gangs that take in hundreds of millions of dollars. But companies this size have a responsibility to society to take extra care.

“They know that a single misstep can harm millions of people financially—but they didn’t take care. They rushed out an update without testing it first. That is negligence, pure and simple, and we won’t stand for it,” said partners Wright and McCall.
